CLASSIC - white label
These wines are distinguished by their dry, elegant, and fresh qualities, aged in stainless steel barrels. We keep vine loading to a minimum, resulting in a lower yield. The timing of the harvest is determined by evaluating acidity, alcohol levels, and pH, allowing us to focus on grape ripeness. We avoid maceration, and after maturing for about 8 months, the wines are prepared for bottling and sale.
White wines: Rebula, Sauvignon Vert, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay
Red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc

Rebula
This indigenous variety features a lower alcohol content compared to other wines, with an average acidity between 5 and 6 g/L, emphasising its freshness. It is a neutral variety, characterised by subtle aromas and flavours, allowing its sensory profile to vary based on the vintage. In most cases, a prominent note of exotic fruit, such as mango, is especially evident.

Sauvignon Vert
The indigenous Brda variety (formerly known as Tokaj) is one of our most significant grapes. It presents particular challenges in vinification due to its delicate, thin-skinned berries, which can quickly spoil if not harvested at precisely the right time. The vines are planted on terraced hillsides, benefiting from optimal exposure. This variety typically has slightly higher alcohol content than Rebula, with lower acidity ranging from 4 to 5 g/L. Its aroma profile is dominated by citrus notes, with grapefruit being the most prominent. On the palate, Sauvignon Vert exhibits a distinctive minerality, reflecting the salinity of the soil.

Pinot Gris
The international variety originating from the Burgundy region of France, known as Pinot Gris, is also characteristic of our wine region. This variety presents certain challenges in cultivation, as its compact clusters and small stems can lead to rapid rotting. While the grapes are typically red, the resulting wine is white with a subtle copper hue. The aroma is reminiscent of white peach, and it possesses an average acidity of approximately 6 g/L.

Chardonnay
Chardonnay is celebrated worldwide as one of the most revered and versatile grape varieties, captivating wine lovers with its intricate and layered flavours.
Grown on sunlit terraces, it develops into a wine of remarkable complexity and depth. While Chardonnay from flatland regions offers a fresher, lighter profile, terrace-grown Chardonnay embodies the depth and refinement that truly set it apart. Aged for approximately 8 months in stainless steel tanks, this wine retains its vibrant aromas and pristine flavours. Its greenish‑yellow hue is accompanied by a delightful and multifaceted bouquet, featuring notes of crisp green apple, citrus, ripe fruit and delicate herbal undertones. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enduring, yet soft and elegant, making it an excellent choice for any occasion.

Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant and aromatic wine that beautifully expresses the distinctive character of our winegrowing region. Benefiting from the ideal climate and sunny slopes, where Alpine and Mediterranean influences converge, this wine develops rich aromas and a refreshing minerality.
In the glass, it captivates with a fragrant bouquet of white flowers, elderflower, tomato leaf, citrus and herbs, seamlessly interwoven. On the palate, it delivers a lively, refreshing profile, balanced by smooth acidity that enhances its elegance. The signature minerality of Brda adds both freshness and a lasting finish, making it a superb choice for those who appreciate fresh, harmonious wines. With its light character, Sauvignon Blanc appeals to those who enjoy fresh and aromatic wines, ideal for a summer evening or a special event.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional aromatic red variety, born from the lineage of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Grown in carefully selected vineyards like Kozarno-Lazne and Šlovrenc-Teza, where the vines are between 10 and 40 years old, this grape reaches its full potential. Harvesting typically occurs in mid- to early October as Cabernet Sauvignon is the last to be picked. The optimal harvest time is determined through chemical analysis and a detailed assessment of phenolic maturity, ensuring consistently high-quality wines. The wine’s colour is intensely rich, with a deep ruby hue that promises a vibrant sensory experience. Its aroma is a complex interplay of forest fruits, blackberries, plums and, depending on the vintage, fresh mint and warming spice notes that add depth to its aromatic profile. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with a touch of tannins that enhance its classic character. Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent choice for those who appreciate wines with depth, complexity, and character.

Cabernet Franc
This is our most widely planted red variety, covering an area of 2 hectares. The maceration process lasts approximately 14 days or until the completion of alcoholic fermentation, taking place in a tank. The wine exhibits a distinct aroma of black pepper and presents a bitter taste resulting from the extended maceration. It boasts a strikingly intense colour.
